Tack does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This policy explains what data the app accesses and why.
No accounts. No tracking. No servers. Everything you save in Tack lives on your device.
All data you create in Tack — saved links, articles, notes, highlights, voice memos, tags, collections, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device in a local SQLite database and the app's private file storage. No data is ever sent to any server.
Tack makes outbound network requests only when you explicitly save a link. These requests fetch the webpage's metadata (title, description, image, favicon) and article content so you can read it offline. No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is sent.
Tack does not embed any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external network requests are those you trigger by saving a link.
You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Data Management → Export. You can delete all data by clearing the app's storage or deleting the app.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
